During weekly children’s support group, NOA advocates work with children to help them identify their feelings, develop empathy and healthy coping skills to deal with the stress they may be experiencing. Play activities in small group settings, combined with individualized attention, help children of all ages increase their self-esteem, learn safety skills and improve their behavior.
Children's support groups meet weekly in Dahlonega and Dawsonville on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm (during the time period that the moms are meeting in their group).
